When Kia went electric
The boxy Soul EV, on sale in California from 2014 as a 2015 model, was Kia's first US electric car. The Niro EV followed, then the 800-volt EV6 in 2022 and the three-row EV9, which made Kia one of the first mass-market brands with a family-sized electric SUV.
